Zagorskaya HPP-2 is a pumped storage power plant with a design capacity of 840 MW under construction (since 2008). The plant is part of RusHydro Group. In 2013, as a result of an accident, the engine room and adjacent areas were flooded. The building changed its elevation.
A consortium of EF-TEK and Lahmeyer International GmbH was engaged in the role of Technical Customer to ensure comprehensive control over the project implementation and coordination of multiple participants.
The tasks of the consortium included:
- Control over the quality, timing of adjustments to the design documentation, additional surveys, expert review, coordination and approval of the design documentation
- Control over the quality, terms and completeness of RD development, consulting the general designer.
- Issuance of the design documentation to the General Contractor.
- Acceptance of all types of works from the General Contractor.
- Maintaining the archive of executive documentation.
- Control and coordination of acquisition of the full package of documents required for presentation of the completed construction of the facility to the acceptance committee.
- Construction control over construction and installation works
- Project management control
