The Avtozavodskaya substation reconstruction project started in 2008 as part of the program for the comprehensive development of the Moscow power supply system and investment programs for the development and modernization of the city's power supply infrastructure. The purpose of the program is to improve the reliability of power supply, increase the flexibility of power grids and adaptation to changing conditions of load growth and increasing energy consumption.
The project is subject to a technology and price audit, which was conducted by PwC. EF-TEK was engaged as a technical consultant.
The technology audit of the project included:
- power demand analysis;
- expert-engineering analysis of technical solutions;
- identification of the main technological risks;
- expert assessment of feasibility of the investment project realization, efficiency of technical and technological solutions;
- identification of opportunities for optimization of the adopted technical and design solutions.
