A major Russian oil company is implementing a project to build a CHPP with a capacity of about 200 MW to supply electricity to an oil refinery and steam to the refinery. In order to improve the quality of the project, a decision was made to conduct an independent expert review of its business plan.
EF-TEK analyzed the developed business plan and investment justification. The following were carried out:
- Evaluation of the project's marketing strategy
- Assessment of the organizational structure of the project
- Assessment of legislative restrictions of the heat and electricity market.
- Examination of technical solutions
- Evaluation of the project financial model
- Risk assessment, development of recommendations.
