During 2009-2012, a new combined-cycle gas and steam cogeneration plant with the use of European equipment with a total capacity of 64 MW was built in Krasavino, Vologda Oblast.  A Russian investor considered the issue of entering the capital of this plant.


EF-TEK was engaged as a technical consultant to conduct a technical audit (Due Diligence).


 Composition of services rendered:

  • Expert assessment of the current condition of the facility.
  • assessment of energy supply limitations
  • assessment of risks for the investor caused by the quality of design and construction of the plant;
  • development of proposals to improve the efficiency of the plant and to optimize costs.
  • Forecasting of plant operations, operating costs for the period up to 2028, including:
  • repair plans (current/capital) and costs;
  • estimation of investment costs,
  • plans for generation and output of electricity and heat energy;
  • calculation of fuel costs.
  • forecast of operating capacity on a monthly basis.
