GUP TEK SPb is one of the leaders in the heat supply market of St. Petersburg. More than 220 boiler houses and over 3.5 thousand kilometers of heating networks are located in its area of responsibility. Primorsky District is the largest in the city in terms of population (over 520 thousand people).


EF-TEK was hired by the State Unitary Enterprise TEK SPb to develop a long-term strategy for the development of the district's heat supply system.


EF-TEK's services included:

  • collection, analysis, update of data on prospective heat loads of consumers (more than 4.5 thousand) until 2025;
  • analysis of source operation modes, assessment of energy efficiency, assessment of limitations;
  • updating of the mathematical model of the heat supply system in the ZuluThermo complex;
  • development of measures for boiler houses and networks development, including feasibility study and financial model for reconstruction of Primorskaya and Kolomyazhskaya boiler houses;
  • development of solutions for centralized heat supply of the new Yuntolovo microdistrict;
  • development of an optimal variant of heat supply system development.
