Pulp and paper company Solikamskbumprom together with energy company E.ON Russia considered various options for the construction of an in-house generation facility to supply power to the paper mill in Solikamsk.
EF-TEK was engaged by E.ON Russia as a consulting engineer. The services consisted of the following:
- analysis of current electrical and heat loads
- development of technical solutions for all variants of CHPP construction, including the use of combined cycle, gas turbine, gas piston technologies
- determining the scope of work to connect the new facility to the UES;
- estimation of capital and operating costs.
