Currently, the total installed capacity of thermal power generation units is 154.7 thousand MW. Taking into account that about 50% of thermal power generation capacities require either replacement or reconstruction and modernization due to the exhaustion of their resource, TEK Mosenergo decided to analyze the market for these works. EF-TEK was engaged as an expert organization.
The scope of marketing research included:
- Analysis of public reporting of generating and industrial companies;
- Analysis of federal electric power industry development programs;
- Analysis of various open sources of information (press, industry reviews, etc.), as well as our own database;
- Development of a structured consolidated list of prospective projects in the field of TPP reconstruction and modernization;
- Estimation of the planned cost of project implementation.
