The Shardara hydrotechnical complex on the Syrdarya River was built according to the project of the Central Asian branch of the S.Y. Zhuk Institute "Hydroproject". Its purpose is complex: irrigation, energy, flood control, fish farming. The reservoir is a channel reservoir, the dam site of the HPP is located in the town of Shardara.


The capacity of the HPP is 100 MW. Commissioning - 1967.


EPC contract for the main lot "Replacement of generators, turbines and auxiliary mechanical devices. Replacement of control system, relay protection and auxiliary electrical devices" was concluded with German company Andritz Hydro.


Under the contract with Andritz Hydro, EF-TEK LLC provided services for technical supervision of construction works within the framework of the hydroelectric unit replacement project.


The tasks of the technical supervisor included:

  • Controlling the quality and completeness of the development of the working documentation;
  • Advising Andritz Hydro on building codes and regulations;
  • Control over development of PPR by the contracting organization;
  • Construction control over the production of construction and installation works;
  • Maintaining the archive of executive documentation.
