RusHydro Group is considering a project to build an energy bridge from Primorye to DPRK. EF-TEC was engaged by JSC TEK Mosenergo as the main contractor to develop the feasibility study for this project.


EF-TEK's scope of services included:

  • Analysis of existing and projected levels of electricity and capacity consumption by the UES of the East and the energy system of the south of Primorsky Krai, as well as consumer demand in the Rason economic zone, development of balances up to 2025;
  • development of supply scheme options, determination of volumes and cost of construction of power grids and power plants (with coordination with ODU Vostok, IES Vostok and PJSC DRSK);
  • calculations of static and dynamic stability for the agreed variant (with agreement with ODU Vostok);
  • assessment of the project's economic efficiency by options, determination of the economically feasible price of electricity supply to the Rason fuel and energy zone.
