Sarov is a closed territorial entity where the Federal Nuclear Center of Russia is located. Its population is about 95 thousand people.
In 2017-2019, new large substations and reconstruction of Sarov CHPP are planned to be commissioned in the local energy system. In this regard, there is an opportunity to improve the reliability of power supply to the northern part of the city through the construction of appropriate networks.
The scope of EF-TEC services included:
- Calculations of static and dynamic stability of the newly commissioned CHPP equipment;
- Calculations of all steady-state modes for consumption schemes for the year of commissioning and for a 5-year perspective;
- Determination of the volume of necessary power grid construction and reconstruction and maximum permissible short-circuit tripping time;
- Calculation of short-circuit currents and the scheme of voltage supply from the external network, verification of equipment compliance;
- Calculation of relay protection and automation installations.
