Zagorskaya HPP-2 is a hydroelectric storage power plant under construction, located in Sergiev Posadsky District, Moscow Region, near the existing Zagorskaya HPP (the largest in Russia). The total design capacity of Zagorskaya HPP-2 is 840 MW, the foundation of the plant was poured in 2008. Zagorskaya HPPP-2 is a member of RusHydro Group.

In September 2013, as a result of an accident, the engine room of Zagorskaya HPP-2 and adjacent territories were flooded.

Lahmeyer International GmbH engaged EF-TEK LLC as a Russian partner to develop a feasibility study of options for the restoration of Zagorskaya HPP-2.

The role of the EF-TEK team is to ensure that Russian regulations are taken into account in design and estimate pricing.

EF-TEK experts assist in collection and processing of source data, estimate costs for implementation of various plant rehabilitation options in the format of the Consolidated Estimate Calculation (CEC), and develop schedules for implementation of the options in Oracle Primavera format.
