EF-TEK LLC developed basic technical solutions and feasibility studies to identify options for the optimal scheme of electricity distribution through the power grids of the Balakovo branch of Apatit JSC. The scope of work included:

  • Perform a study, supported by calculations, on the feasibility of using a back-pressure turbine or a condensing turbine with production withdrawal.
  • To carry out a study to determine the optimal variant of power distribution through the own power grids of the BPF of Apatit JSC, taking into account the development of the SWM.
  • Calculate short-circuit currents under the new power supply scheme.
  • calculate short-circuit currents under the new power supply scheme.
  • Calculate operating modes of the new configuration of the power supply system.
  • Calculate the existing power supply system of auxiliary needs to determine the need to build a new substation of auxiliary needs.
  • Calculate the steam balance of the plant to justify the type and capacity of the newly installed turbine and generator.
  • Determine locations and provide layout solutions for the newly installed equipment
  • Determine the optimal option for laying new cable routes of the power supply scheme of the BP of Apatit JSC, taking into account the use of existing and projected cable structures.
  • Determine the optimal technical and economic characteristics of the main equipment of the power supply scheme
